Devon.. That’s long ago. Same as Cornwall, it is really a beautiful place to go to. Seriously a recommendation, but where do you have to go to when you are in Devon?
As first we went to this beautiful fisher city. It smelled here so bad of fish (what makes a lot of sense!), but it was really beautiful here. We had to walk very long to reach this city and we needed to walk down especially. There was a beautiful view here and there was also a ‘rescue operation’ going on. Now you probably ask yourself, why rescue operation between quotation marks? Fortunately, this was a test.
England has so much beautiful nature to make pictures of. I had the perfect camera for this with me, a canon sx60 hs. Of course, the evil seagulls were here as well. Not my favourite birds, but sometimes they are a bit pretty.
Talking about seagulls.. This fisher city has a lot. These birds love to poop on my head, but fortunately this didn’t happen. They were far away fortunately.
The next day we went to a city named Ilfracombe (Yes! I know the name of this city!). A beautiful city and seriously a recommendation to go to. It was very cold here, so my brother needed to wear my sweater. Keep calm, it was a normal black sweater what you can buy on the men department as well. I stood with my Pokémon in a gym as well, yay!
Unfortunately, we didn’t go into the city, but we walked next to the coast. In the last city we parked for around three hours, but this wasn’t worth it. We parked here for only an hour, but that could be a bit more for me.
When we walked to the end of this city, we had to walk back again. A ticket is not that handy. Now I see this American flag, I know why this was hanging here. When I walked into the city, I had no idea why England was so into the American flag. It was about the elections of course and nothing else.
Beautiful views, you can’t miss those. There were beautiful flowers here, but also stores of course.
You see that this city is really modernized. At the first sight you see this beautiful old church, but next to this church stand modern cars. Also the clock has a weird text. I’m really wondering if they still use this church or is it just there for the show?
More American flags! The American elections are really important for this city. This is more the tourist part of the city. There were so many people here and also the cars who try to drive through the city. It looks like St. Eves.
Too bad if your boat lays here. You have to wake up really early to sail away. I wonder tho, when the water comes back. Such beautiful boats and then you can’t use it..
Ilfracombe was dedicated to the woman. What this statue means, we couldn’t find that. This statue probably has a special meaning, but we can’t know that.
As you can see, the weather was beautiful. The weather is beautiful in Holland as well, but it wasn’t stuffy here like it is in Holland. We drove through a nature park as well, but you could only see grass here.
The last city I visited was nameless. I googled everywhere (yes, a new verb!), but this city was named to ‘City close to Exeter’. So yeah. the city close to Exeter was really beautiful! There was a beautiful church here, but we didn’t go in here. In front of the church you can help building a Lego church. A mini version of this church.
This was also a famous Pokémon park. First there weren’t many people sitting here, but we walked through it again after an hour, and it was so full. If you want to have a relax day, then this is not a recommendation ;).
This was Devon already. Did you read the articles of Cornwall, Southampton en Kingsteignton?
