I am using Tailwind for a pretty long time now. I barely have to look at my pins and my blog gets promoted automatically. My Dutch readers can find me more easily, but also my English readers. Pinterest is a big part of my blog and I get a lot of visitors from it back. Besides Tailwind, there is also another scheduling tool called Boardbooster. Of course, then the question is, which schedule tool does suit me the best? Curious about Tailwind vs Boardbooster? In this post, I will tell you the difference.

Tailwind vs Boardbooster
The look of a website is something very personal of course. In my opinion, I think Boardbooster is very complex and I just don’t get it. Most websites look very modern, but Boardbooster is just a bit behind. Opposed to Boardbooster, Tailwind is very modern and most people get how this website works. You don’t have to have much knowledge to understand Tailwind and that’s pretty nice of course.
Amount of pins
Before, I used a free trial of Viraltag. For fourteen days, you can schedule your pins for free with this scheduling tool. I don’t think it is worth the money to buy Viraltag because it is just super expensive and you can only schedule your pins with it. Still, I thought it was nice that you could schedule unlimited pins. So, I was looking for this in Tailwind or Boardbooster as well. With Boardbooster, you pay for 500 pins, 5$ each month. First, it looks like a lot, but if you think about the ideal amount of pins (around 70-100 pins each day), then you need 2100 each month. With Boardbooster that would mean you need to pay around 30$ each month to schedule this amount of pins.
With Tailwind this is another story. You can actually choose between two things. Or you pay 15$ each month and then you get 400 pins each month. Or you pay 120$ at once for the whole year. Then you get a 33% discount and you can pin unlimitedly. Imagine, you want to pin 10.000 pins each month (that’s a bit too much tho). You can do this with Tailwind! I think this is really nice of Tailwind. You don’t need to pay any attention to the number of pins you use.
Advantages of Tailwind
There are a lot more advantages of Tailwind. One advantage is bulk scheduling. With this button, you can schedule 100 pins at once. This way it is really easy to schedule pins from others. It is very important that you pin pins from others. Besides that, board lists exist. I have a list of a lot of group boards related to fashion. So when I post a fashion pin, then I can schedule this pin to all these group boards at once. On Pinterest, it is important that you don’t pin everything at once. Tailwind has this amazing function called use interval, with this function you can set that your pins get pinned every eight hours. Besides that, you can choose for “open time slots”, “optimized” and “exact”. With open time slots, you can easily schedule a pin into your schedule. With optimized, new time slots get made so your pin gets pinned on the best times. With exact, your pin gets pinned to all group boards immediately. I don’t recommend to use this option when you have a lot of group boards. When you use this option then you have a chance to get seen as a spammer.
There are a lot more advantages of Tailwind, but there are also advantages of Boardbooster. I will tell these advantages in the next article which I will publish in about two weeks. So stay tuned!
