I actually never paint my nails, but I want to do this more. I sometimes miss a colour on my nails. I have got this beautiful nail polish from my sweet aunt, so it was time to paint my nails. This is my first experience with Essie and I am pretty surprised by the quality of this nail polish.

The nail polish

As first, I want to give big compliments to the makers of this bottle. I think the bottle is really beautiful because of the different shapes. It is something different than the normal bottles. The brush is pretty normal fortunately. With the brush you can apply the nail polish super easy. I can’t see anything bad about that.

On my nails

The nail polish on my nails are of cours pretty bright, but it is really pretty. The nail polish applies pretty easy and this colour is actually perfect for the summer. I am now thinking about some other combinations which I can make with this nail polish. I have applied a bit of glitter to my ring finger, but that is not a spectaculair creation.

It is really a pity that this nail polish flakes pretty fast. Maybe the cause is my typing on my pc, but it flakes pretty fast for an Essie nail polish. After a day there are already pieces of my nail polish gone. Maybe I can solve this with a bit of top coat.

An Essie nail polish costs about 7.50 euros. This is pretty expensive for a polish which doesn’t stay on for long. Still, I think this is a pretty nice color and retouching it is not really a big problem. The next time I am going to create a nice design with this nail polish. This is a really nice nail polish for the summer or with a nice black dress.
