L’Oréal Infallible Concealer

What L’Oréal about this concealer:

The Infallible Full Wear Concealer is an intensely pigmented concealer for full coverage. This concealer has a waterproof formula and hides all your imperfections, dark circles and other bumps on your skin. In addition, it gives your skin a smooth finish and the concealer doesn’t creep into fine lines and pores.

This concealer has a matte finish, is longwearing and can also be used to contour and add definition to your face. Do you wish to use the concealer as a highlighter? Then choose a color that is 1 to 2 shades lighter than your own skin tone. Do you want to contour? Then choose a color that is 2 to 3 shades darker.

Well, that sounds promising!

The package contains 11ml concealer, which is slightly more than the concealer that I normally buy. In addition, this concealer is waterproof (And yes, I tested that, more about this later ..). The concealer is also cruelty-free, which I stand for.

This concealer is available in 13 colors, from which I reviewed 8. These are the different colors:

Medium skin tone, neutral undertone.

• • 331 Latte:

Medium skin tone, neutral/yellow undertone.

• • 334 Walnut: 

Medium skin tone, pink undertone.

• • 335 Caramel:

Medium skin tone, yellow undertone.

• • 337 Almond:

Medium skin tone, golden undertone.

• • 338 Honey: 

Medium to dark skin tone, warm undertone.

• • 340 Chestnut:

Medium to dark skin tone, warm undertone.

I must say that I hardly see any difference between the colors Oatmeal, Bisque, and Vanilla. Vanilla is really just a bit darker (if you look closely), but there is not a big difference between these three colors.

Normally I always have the lightest color with concealer, but the color Porcelain is clearly too light for that. It is almost a white color, but that is actually perfect if you have a concealer that is just too dark and that you want to make a little lighter. I will definitely use that for the Cashew and Pecan colors!

The only drawback to this concealer is the brush. The brush is in fact quite large, so you cannot easily reach all the places that you want to reach. For example, I usually use concealer under my eyes, but it is quite difficult to reach all the places around my eyes with this brush.

Swatches

These are the swatches of the concealer. As you can see, the concealers are all in different colors. You can also see that the concealer is quite thick on my arm. This is because of the brush and I couldn’t manage to apply a lesser amount. The concealers are very pigmented tho!

L’Oréal Infallible Concealer on my face

On the photo on the right, you see the concealer in color 324 Oatmeal and on the left my normal skin without concealer. I must say that I am blessed with fairly flawless skin, so there is almost no difference with wearing concealer and without. This is why I always try to apply as little concealer as possible.

This concealer ensures that my skin becomes completely smooth. In addition, the concealer gives me a healthy glow, without me having to use other products for it.

Another big advantage of this concealer is that it is really waterproof and also lasted a long time. I have worn this concealer to the liberation festival and it stayed in place for a long time! It also stays in while it is raining (very handy in The Netherlands!) and you don’t have to worry that your makeup will run out.
