A bad experience with a company

I just need to show my frustration. I know that not everyone is perfect and that everyone makes mistakes, but this reached the top. Somebody can forget something and everyone makes mistakes, but so many mistakes is not normal anymore. It looks like I only have bad experiences with companies, but that’s not true. In a while, an articles comes online with the positive things what companies do. Something mistakes jump in front and I just need to tell you this.

Let’s start at the begin. I received an e-mail from, let’s call him Henk. Him has sent me an e-mail for a collaboration. The webshop where he emailed about, where I am not going to call the name from, had really nice products and it fitted good with my blog. I was really interested in that kind of collaboration. So said, so done, I started with a review. The review went really well. I received the products pretty fast an the communication with the company was very good as well. I was very satisfied with this collaboration and I said that he could always email me if he was interested in another collaboration.

After a month the company emailed me again for a collaboration. Now it was about a giveaway, very nice to make one of my readers happy. I wrote an article and I put the article online. The ‘miserable’ started with this. I sent the company an e-mail that I put the article online. I didn’t receive a respond, but I thought they were just busy and that they saw the article already. After a while I received an e-mail that the article was totally okay. When the giveaway ended, I chose a winner. The winner was very happy and I sent the company an e-mail with the address details and the name of the winner.

On this e-mail I didn’t get a respond, but I thought he didn’t see the e-mail and I sent the e-mail another time. I knew for sure I sent the e-mail on the right way, so I knew for sure something didn’t go good. After a couple of e-mails and waiting for more than a month I was done with it and I sent a message on Facebook. Before, I tried to sent a message on the website, but they didn’t answer on this.

On Facebook I explained my problem and I got a simple message back, that they read the e-mail and that they have sent the e-mail to Henk. I didn’t agree with this. because I didn’t hear from Henk in a long time. I said this and I just got a simple message back (probably an automatic one) that they would send the e-mail to Henk. After waiting another five days, I was totally done with it. I sent the company a message on Facebook, that if they won’t anser back that I would write something about it on my blog. I would never do this and too be honest, I was a bit scared as well, but this was the only thing I could do. Because of this ‘threat’ I got an e-mail back immediately that it was solved.

I sent an e-mail to the winner with the good news and we were very happy that it was solved. The winner finally received the product (after waiting very long!), but this wasn’t the product which she won. I was unpleased with this collaboration and I spent way more time in this collaboration then I thought before. I emailed the company another time and the winner didn’t stay put as well. She sent an e-mail to the company about the wrong product. After a while she received the right product and we were both totally done with this company. I thought that I was finally done with this company, but that’s was not the option.

This accident happened a couple of months ago, but now I suddenly received a bill with the amount of money I need to ‘pay’. The funny thing is that I can’t pay this amount of money, because this amount of money is on the account of the company itself. Pretty handy tho, that bill, very nice for in my stash *cough*. A couple hours ago I sent a message again, but I probably won’t get a respond on this.

I’ve learned a lot of this company. First of all, always pay attention with who you collaborate! Check first the reviews of the costumers (because this company had really bad reviews) and ask the bloggers you know if they know this company and if you can trust him. You can maybe expect another part of this story, but I hope I won’t need to do it.
