A couple of days ago I’ve received this lipstick in the last Styletone. A monthly box where you can receive the most awesome products. I wanted to write a review about this lipstick and that’s why I didn’t tell much about this lipstick in the other article. This lipstick has a really beautiful color, do you want to know more about this?  

The lipstick

This is the lipstick. A beautiful color as you can see and definitely a color which I love to wear. The color looks a bit red, but also in the way of purple. The lipstick also contains a bit of shimmer. Because of this shimmer the lipstick (on the swatch) is not totally matt, but with a bit of shimmer.

The package

This is the package. When I see this package I think of a Nivea lipstick. The package looks pretty cheap and I prefer a black luxe package. I just love black and I can’t change that. On the dop sits a kind of a bottle or whatever it is. This is the logo of the brand.

Too be honest, I was a bit shocked by this sticker. I thought the lipstick was actually black because of the sticks instead of a beautiful nude color which I can wear every day. I read the name and then I noticed (fortunately!) that this lipstick was pink. I was searching for a long time for a pink/red lipstick and that’s this one now.

Swatches

When I made a swatch of this lipstick on my arm, I noticed fast that you couldn’t remove this swatch on your arm. I have this more often, so I didn’t have much confiance in the ‘longlasting effect’ of this lipstick. When I tried to put the lipstick on my lips, I noticed that I couldn’t apply the lipstick on an easy way. So difficult that I needed to apply the lipstick a lot of times to get a bit of color on my lips. I thought this was because the lipstick is new, but that wasn’t the case. When I put the lipstick on my lips then it feels my lips are really dry. This is of course not a nice feeling, but I am going to try to wear a lipgloss under this lipstick.

This is the lipstick on my lips. A beautiful pink/red color with only disadvantage the dryness on my lips.
